I like the look and feel of this kettle: the flip-top lid makes filling really easy, and the dual level guides are well positioned, but what really stands out is just how quiet this kettle is. It is now possible to have a conversation while the kettle is in use. Boils quickly too. All round an excellent product.

This kettle is nicely built. I love that you can remove all the plastic bits so it’s a stainless steel only kettle. It’s important that there are no plastic parts the water comes into contact with. It’s much quieter than my previous kettle and boils fast thanks to its 3k Watt power. It feels good in the hand and pours nicely as well.

Needed to replace my kettle and so many of them I find extremely noisy when boiling. This kettle is definitely one of the quieter ones.

Not sure why people are saying it is noisy. Definitely a lot quieter than my 7 year old Breville kettle that finally gave up the ghost. Love the blue light when you switch it on. Nice pour from the spout. Very happy!

I bought this kettle to replace another one I purchased just three months ago, made by a different manufacturer. What a difference! This Russell Hobbs kettle is very quiet, boils the maximum amount of water in just a couple of minutes, and boils a single mug of water in less than a minute. The spout is sensibly designed so that the water pours in a steady stream instead of splashing out, and the central column in the circular base makes it so easy to replace the kettle on its charging point. Add to that the rather attractive neon blue circular light around the base and the easy-flip-open lid and you have the best kettle I’ve ever owned. So impressed, I’ve just ordered the matching toaster.
